Erosion

Attempts to stop or at least reduce creek bank erosion. You find all sorts of pieces of old concrete that have been thrown down the sides of the creek. At first sight one might think what a mess, but when it really rains and the creek floods, the banks are worn away in no time flat. Hence the attempts to hinder it. It is apparent from the tree roots where the banks once were and in some places the roots are completely laid bare. I must find a spot that will illustrate this better on another day.
