Serious work

Today was the day of the post Christmas lunch for the Quilting group where we all contribute a little something to the meal and proceed to have a fabulous afternoon in excellent company with food and wine to match. Seventeen of our members enjoyed the afternoon so you may well imagine the wonderful assortment of food and the warmth of the chat.  I almost forgot to take a photo and then suddenly remembered as one group ensconced in my conservatory were busy tucking into their main course. It was minus 4 again today so this was the perfect antidote and if you look closely you can still see some frost lingering on the path. I had walked both dogs very early and they were very well behaved, tucked away in the utility room with their toys during the party.  I am now hugging the remnants of a bottle of white - just one glass so a shame not to! - and definitely not needing any supper. A lovely day.
