A Tree Dancing

She held her lovely gesture
For a second longer
As I raised my camera,
And I thought I heard her whisper:
"I studied with Martha Graham."
I shook my head to clear my ears
and asked her to repeat herself.
She shook her branches
And said: "Oh, I forget...
Perhaps it was Martha Graham that studied with me."
