Winter Garden Work

It was a very warm here today, warm enough for replanting bulbs, and laying in a garden path. The bulbs were moved out of necessity; HD needs to put a 2 feet wide border of gravel around the house to deter water, plant roots, and termites so the bulbs were moved out of harm's way. As they flower in the fall and not spring, we hope they will simply accommodate to their new location before it is time for any grand gestures. The path took 2 days to put in, as each block had to be leveled underneath. HD took a lot of painkillers and a hot bath this afternoon...

Life is good.
