A Galaxy Far, Far Away

This is an emergency blip. My only photo for the day, snapped just before coming home from work. It is a quilt block with the look of hand stitched applique, but is actually all machine pieced seams. The technique, developed by well known quilt artist Sharon Schamber, is called Piecelique. Prior to quilting, she was a couture dressmaker, and borrowed techniques from that process for her technique.
