Out of Time

Discovered last night a real hardy Christmas light lover and thought  that I would have to try to get a shot of this tonight. Sure enough, lights were still on tonight :-)
For the lovers of oldies this is what came to my mind while photographing

It is strange in a way how different things can be perceived whether they appear at the right moment or quite a bit there after.
Nothing is older and less interesting than yesterday's newspaper.
How quickly the year that just passed will look grey and dusty.
How terrible words can sound, when they are pronounced too late...

I am grateful for the warm reception that yesterday's blip got. You gave the little girl so  many stars and hearts that the picture even appeared on page 6 of the favorites. Made me happy ...Thank you all!
