Rain needed

The drive home from work today took us past a lot of dry grass. It must be so frustrating for the farmers. We have had several scrub fires in Canterbury in the last week. Not good.
Our weather forecast keeps promising rain but we have not seen anything to wet the ground.
I hope we get some rain soon.
