Dry days

There as a massive wildfire just south of Blenheim, scorching over 56 hectares of land. Not as bad as some of the wildfires you get across the Tasman, but vicious enough when the grass is like tinder at the moment.

It is so dry here that some of the trees have already started to loose their leaves. They made a useful blip tonight as the light is too poor and shallow for a landscape.
