Nesting Crested Grebe

There are lots of Grebes nesting on lake Wanaka this year. People have put out floating pieces of wood for them to nest on. This grebe was sitting on 2 eggs. I'm not sure if this bird is male or female but there were two birds that took turns setting on the nest.
