Icy Ice plant
It was frosty this morning so I did a quick shot of the aptly named ice plant in my garden. The garden stayed white with frost all day apart from the places where the sun had shone. I'd put a bowl of fresh water for the birds this morning - by afternoon it had frozen over.
I went to U3A this morning and it was a very interesting talk about Thomas Telford, especially his work in Shropshire. What an amazing man - roads, canals, churches, bridges, aqueducts and much, working all over the UK. He sounded a very modest man too which I admired.
