My beloved Oslo - winter textures

Akerselva divide Oslo in east and west, but are most identified with east Oslo since in the old times there were fabrics here. Authors have written about the harsh work conditions. Slowly the workers have put pressure to get better and fairer work conditions and regulations.

Our new government has forgotten this 100 year history and will reverse The Norwegian Work Environment Act  and work under the mantra "more freedom" - read loss of pension, longer working hours without extra payment, fewer permanent employment.

There will be a big strike on the 28. January.
