The city in rush hour
I took the good camera with the long lens to work - with the idea of some night shots from the multi-storey car park. Well, night ish. I left at 6pm tonight. This view looks on to the inner ring road - which, as you can see, is completely covered in car headlights, as they snake down the hill towards the valley, flanked on either side by blocks of flats. The set at the rear, with the odd shape in silhouette, won an architecture award two years ago, and is student accommodation. And the brightest building? Actually - that's a car park, which is built over the ring road.
The city always looks different at night. Sometimes the lights make it look glamorous, but at other times, they just seem to illuminate the sadness of some run down areas.
