feeling half a foot taller today. Happy news all round. 
Our efforts at the Town Council meeting were rewarded with a recommendation that The Park's planning proposal be submitted to the Planning Committee. There was an audible relaxing of the shoulders when the motion was passed. So round one of the battle won, now onto round two. For a little market town the council meeting was heated and dramatic at times. It made interesting listening and viewing, when I was able to concentrate after I'd delivered my piece. I admit I came away with renewed admiration for people who get involved in small town politics! But it's definitely not for me.
