Ian Rankin's Edinburgh

Had the joy of being able to walk to work today. VERY cold but most of the snow has gone.

Then popped into Edinburgh on the train this evening for a spot of Pre-Burns night haggis, tatties and neeps, followed by a glass of Deuchars in one of Rebus' favourite watering holes. No great topic of conversation in the place other than three gentlemen of a certain age discussing their stereograms!

A quick exit made before I found myself joining in with tales of the glory days of Dynatron, speakers as big as a fridge and the advent of the first audio cassette. A foreign language nowadays I know but I have vague memories.
