New toy...

Well more of an investment really...

I've bought an overlocker... it cuts and overlocks at the same time... making the kind of seam finish that you see on shop bought clothes.  particularly good for stretchy fabrics...

but it's a whole new world to me, I've only ever used a sewing machine previously...  So I've got it threaded and working, but I think I need to do some reading up on my tensions and techniques... 

Fortunately the place where I bought it from will do a 1 hour tuition session,  so I'll see how far I get by watching you tube videos and then take it from there  :-)
