Grassed up!

Same place as yesterday's blip - in fact, just a few feet away. The area where many of walk their dogs is treated as a site of special interest by the council. In addition to hosting great crested newts (have only ever seen just the one), the area around the pond has numerous types of grass. This is just one of fourteen that I counted a few years ago.
While there are paths kept short, most of the grass is left to grow throughout the summer.
It forms a wonderful haven for many and a place where I have got to know and chat to many locals.
