Dawn over the city

View over Kelvin Hall toward Glasgow. Snow still lies on the rooftops and a weak sun is straining to shine through the cloud bank hovering over the city. In the distance is the Finnieston Crane and just below it the circular dome of the SSE Hydro - the latest landmark on Glasgow's skyline, modelled on Greek and Roman amphitheatres.Right of that is the building known as The Armadillo (The Clyde Auditorium) It sits on the site of the infilled Queen's Dock, adjacent to the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre.
