Coming home

Today e started the 12 hour drive home. It as the last day that I would wake up to this view from the balcony.

On the way back we stopped off at Loch Garten in the RSPB Abernethy Forest nature reserve situated in the Cairngorms National Park. Where amongst other things they are helping to protect and track the progress of the resident Ospreys. Here is a live link to one of the chicks in a nest.

We didn't see any Osprey returning with fish for the chicks, but we did see this cheeky chappy clearing up the feed dropped from the bird feeders. I had never seen a red squirrel before this.
