Winter walks

Went for a walk in Londonthorpe this afternoon. Walked up a hill the otherside of this building and around the woods on this side. This row of trees continues down the valley till the big house. Apparently they used to come up to the archway and sit-in a room at the top to have afternoon tea while surveying their property. On a clear day they would have been able to see four counties.
A lovely walk around the wood with the dogs. Saw some deer and my first snowdrops of the year.
