The Day after 100 Years Ago...

This document was written on by  Corporal J McLeish on 20/01/1915, 100 years ago yesterday. It was then postmarked 23/01/1915 and sent to Mrs John Wilson, 30 Bridge Street, Buckie, Banffshire, Scotland. At the time, he was 'quite well'. This has been framed on my office wall for some years now, and I always wondered what happened to him. As with many soldiers at the time, they wrote the postcard and, by the time it got to the addressee, the soldier's fate had changed dramatically. Did he survive the next 24 hours until 100 years ago today?
