Try a LIttle Tenderness
My Mantra was to Try a Little Tenderness, it's Wednesday, so it's Mother's day.
It was good to be reminded of her laughter as she patted my head protectively. It was good to take her out to lunch and watch her eat heartily. It was good to be aware of the community who help each other and who look out for those in need. I was asked several times how her health was, could they help in anyway. So kind.
She comes with challenges just now however, with Duckie singing in my ear and the thought of Gin later I glided through those challenges and left her happy.
This image has been haunting me for a while and in search of authenticity it wasn't until I was pouring the 3rd gin that I realised you wouldn't know that there was no gin in the glasses, would you? Or are you like me, a bit of a stickler for precision and accuracy?
Looks like I have a fun evening ahead. Chin, chin. Go, on Try a Little Tenderness.
p.s. did you know that Duckie is Alan from Two and a Half Men?
