Bleak

I arrived home from DC early this morning.  I'm glad it warmed up a bit so I didn't have to scrape the car at the airport.  It was still dark when I got to the car, and that is just the worst job - scraping the car when all you want to do is just get home as quickly as possible!  

After a nice loooong nap, Dolly and I headed out for a walk around the fields before it got dark.  I decided to check out one of the lakes.  The path around it was pretty deep with mud so we didn't get very far, but I did get a few shots.  It felt very bleak and grey today, but I enjoyed the sound of the various water fowl and it always feels good to be out in the fresh air (and with my faithful companion) after being cooped up in a plane all night!
