Chinese Fortune

I'm not a great fan of Chinese food, at least, not the food you get in local Chinese restaurants. The smell always makes my mouth water but I'm always disappointed by the food when it comes. But I suspect there is great Chinese food out there, if you know where to find it.

And with that in mind, I recently made a slow cooked Chinese Red Pork dish, and although I say it myself, it was superb. I've never really cooked Chinese much before but on this experience, I think I'll try it again. The rice wine went into the recipe; of course, I had to try it first, but I rather wish I hadn't. Do people really drink it?

And the Fortune Cookie? Well apparently, I will find romance on Monday. I rather think Mrs H may have something to say about that.
