Sun, sand and black grit in your socks!

14 km walk today that ended up as 11 miles!
About 600m of climb (and descent) according to the guide book.
Started off with two base layers a fleece and a windshell.
Ended up with the fleece in the back pack and wishing I'd taken off one of the base layers too.
Still blowing a gale and lots of white horses out at sea.
When the sun came out we were walking along in the shade.
