The eleventh floor

An event early at a flashy new office block. The location is given away by the view through the window.

My first experience of a programmable lift - no buttons for floors, no indication inside the lift of where it is going, all done by a quick swipe of a card.

These two chairs (or are they thrones) with integrated table and lighting might seem a little over the top ! Are they for semi private tete a tetes ? Are they for a quiet cup of tea and contemplation of the view.

Beyond and through the window is a terrace with some tables and chairs, thick glass screens enclose it so no danger of falling off the side of the building, whilst no views of the City roofscape are impeded. I now know that if I see people here as I look up, it is accountants doing some blue sky thinking.
