Mirror Art.
Today, I had to go to my new flat and measure up the windows and Juliet balcony doors. I had never heard that expression before but it is there to stop me falling out when I let the fresh air in.There I was thinking they'd thrown in a Romeo too ! I like this trio of mirror discs hanging in the corridor, but it was a bit difficult to avoid my reflection. A frustrating day to start with. I had to locate the gas and electric meters which were locked in the communal bike shed (so I was told) and take the reading. I couldn't find them as they were in a separate sheds and when I did eventually come across them, mine was at the bottom near the floor and was awkward to see. Two ladies who used to come to my dance class are in the same complex and I was invited in for a welcome cup of tea before going home. They asked if I was going to put some music on so we could exercise in the nearby community room when I'm settled in. I might, but not regularly. I shall move in a couple of weeks and am really looking forward to having a lift instead of the present 30 stairs to climb to my maisonette.
