Random act of kindness...

This coffee cup put a real smile on my face today. I'd been to the dentist this morning and been told I needed a root canal that would cost around £800 so when I walked into Pret at lunch I must have looked rather down. As I stood waiting for my sandwich to toast after paying and totally lost in my thoughts the guy behind the counter asked if I would like a coffee on the house. It was such a sweet gesture that took me totally by surprise that it really cheered me up.  I might not feel that way when I return to the dentist at some point but I felt happier today!
