1985 Submariner 16800, known as a transitional model due to it being the 1st of the sapphire crystal subs and the last with the matt dial.
A proper workhorse tool watch.
30 years old and still only +/- 3 seconds a day.
It would look great with one of the modern domed sapphires you can get these days, replicating the plexi of its 1680 predecessor.
