Pig Racing On May Day

Not really sure what to make of Pig racing, the idea is comical but it's not actually that entertaining to watch, quite bizarre really. It's the kind of thing you'd expect to see if you took a time machine back to a village fair over 50 years ago. Today was the Langwathby May Day which my gran was involved in the opening of. It's not as busy or vibrant as it used to be when I was kid and not many people dress up for the occasion like they used to, although it's good they keep the tradition of it running after all these years.
