Poplars

I have had a dreadful headache for about three days and although I've resorted to painkillers, it's not shifting.  I rarely have them so am hoping it goes away very soon.

Hilary Mantell's televised version of Wolf Hall was excellent last night.

I watched a bit of the Australian Open at breakfast time and have had a short walk, just to get some fresh air.  We have a lot of poplar trees around us and these run alongside the playing field.  I thought they looked quite good against the little bit of blue sky.

I haven't managed to link yesterday's picture, but it's worth a look, I think.
