Walking in a Winter Wonderland!

An early walk in the snow around the St Ives Estate was quite magical this morning.

The snow was thawing and very wet but in the field at the top of the estate it was about 5/6 inches deep.

Here we are just returning to the path that passes through the golf course on our way to feeding the ducks and geese at Coppice Pond with the usual suspects present; the noisy Greylag Goose and the young swan.
