Falconry Thursday

This afternoon I directed a photoshoot with the castle falconer and a beautiful Snowy Owl called Dougal as part of the promotional campaign for Tourism Superstar with Visit England and The Mirror.

I first saw Dougal as a baby owl last summer when he nibbled on my feet. He (or possibly she as the sex is still unknown) has developed into quite a character much like Mark the head falconer who as always did not fail to entertain today.
