600 not out!

Find it difficult to credit the fact that this is my 600th entry, but it is! Not only that but 600 consecutive days with no breaks. Many days, especially in winter, there has been that desperate realisation that it was already dark outside and no pictures 'in the bag' so to speak. I am sure you fellow blippers will identify with that feeling.
I am in the midst of an Owl series, so continue... And here is a spectacular specimen that I covered way back. He is Japanese and I found him on Frog Street in Matsumoto - falling for him instantly. He is porcelain, quite large and I was worried at the time about getting him back to home in one piece, knowing what the rigours of long distance flights can do to personal belongings. Anyway, here is Frog Street Owl in all his glory, enjoying a brief spell out of doors in the front garden.
