Bright grey

It's been so grey all day here that it's almost felt as though the sky was falling down, the bright spot on the horizon was the fact that the work is continuing in the woods and the top path is now accessible, although now I'm not so sure we can call them 'the woods' I don't think there are enough trees left...how many trees do you need for it to be 'woods'?

In other news, had to argue with Germans today about the fact that 'necessary' only has one 'c', apparently it doesn't look right, I do love it when such an 'easy' language rears its tricky head and bites.
