Whatever your opinion, an extraordinary experience being present when the draft legislation arising out of the Smith Commission was unveiled by the Prime Minister in Edinburgh today.

I was there with a group of young people. All delighted that 16 and 17 year olds will be able to vote in future Scottish Parliament elections - but they quizzed the PM re when all young people aged 16 and 17 in the UK will be able to vote in all elections. It's fair to say he remains unconvinced...
