Our miracle girl had her 2nd bone marrow transplant 14th Jan 2014.   She initially engrafted, and we thought we'd won the jackpot.  Unfortunately she slowly rejected them and got down to very worrying levels.  We gave her about 3 stem cell top ups but with no luck.  So, we tackled it with all guns blazing and gave her a DLI top up with high doses of tcells cells.  A couple of months later her levels have risen to 92%.  We got told this yesterday at a meeting with our consultant but wanted to break the news on her 1st anniversary.  As my sister says, she truely is a miracle child.  Couldn't have wished for much better news.
