Mauritius Backblip #4

Wednesday was our first tour of the island.  This took in the tea factory at Bois Cheri, La Vanille wildlife park where we saw giant tortoises and watched the crocodiles being fed and La Maison de la Vanille where they grew vanilla and produced rum. Lunch was at La Bungalow before we moved onto Gris Gris.  Maruritius is surrounded by coral reefs - you can see the waves breaking out to see, but the coastline is gentle.  Gris Gris is the only place where the waves crash to the shore.  They were very proud of it; we thought it was just like Scarborough!
