North Berwick

Ok so I'll admit I'm looking around the flat for a blip while the dinner is cooking - busy day and then I took the long road home on the bike for a wee cycle :)

I saw this picture in a charity shop a few years ago and thought I'd known it all my life and I had! My parents also have a watercolour of this very scene also painted by the same North Berwick High School teacher JD Nelson. They received theirs as a wedding present in 1969. The tide is different in the two pics and some other wee details vary. It was such a funny feeling in the charity shop to have such a strong familiarity and connection with a picture - I had to buy it of course :)
