Farmhouse

Idyllic farmhouse in Jimena de la frontiera, Gadiz, Spain.

We got in this courtyard during our hiking in the Spanish nature. After this place the trail went over a river. The water was so high that we had to return and take some other way out to the town. That was an adventure, over fences and between cows and bulls. The road from the house went over the river and we assumed of course that there is a bridge. But no bridge, just a concrete plate and the water was streaming over. We took the shoes off and waded over in cold water. 

Happy and tired we found our car after hiking of 7 kilometers in a very difficult terrain up and down.
