Apparently this boy is tired of this week too!

I made leek and potato soup today. For no reason other than the fact we had potatoes and leeks to use up. I'm not even a great fan of leek and potato soup...I remember my school used to do one that was really nice so I would always choose it if they had it on (one such time was just before a school council meeting and I took it with me and embarrassed myself because the leek strips were long and there was always one refusing to leave the cup despite the rest of it being in my mouth) Anyway, perhaps I was just hoping I could make the best leek and potato soup ever. It was ok. Not as nice as schools (but a lot less stringy). I also made some little almond biscuits while Isaac napped.

Amelie presented me with a picture she had drawn today of 8 triangles. Beside it she had written 8 then "At chiangls" Of course it makes sense when you know what it says but its so funny trying to decipher some of these words. Perhaps we are going to need to work on speaking a bit more clearly! I find it amusing she keeps putting captials in the middle of words so they have the right sounds.

Isaac woke up this morning to find he had a new dummy (or ba-back as he calls it...no clue why) which had footballs on it. He was really pleased and proceeded to count them, one ball, two ball, three ball, four ball! He was right! He has been doing a lot of counting recently.
