Out Of Season

I think I probably walked Harley too far today. I lost track of time and realised we had already been out for an hour when I decided to head back to the car.

It was really quite along the seafront today and this pic sums it up at this time of year. Closed for the season.

It was soon after this point that Harley took a dip in the harbour. He didn't jump in - he slipped. A big splash and lots of doggie paddle followed, thankfully he was sensible enough to turn round and stay close to the side.

So there I was, outside the Harvester, lying on my stomach grabbing hold of this drowned dog, hauling him out of the water. Lesson learned? I doubt it.
