Christmas at the Magic Kingdom

The kids slept a bit better last night - up at 6am as opposed to yesterday's 4am start. We were all up early anyway, as we're all off to Magic Kingdom today for the kids' first visit to Disney!

As usual for this time of year, the parks are mega-busy - it was hard enough just getting round, never mind getting on any of the popular rides - the newly opened Seven Dwarfs Mine Train was well over a 2hr wait all day!

After the carousel, the TomorrowLand People Mover and Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin, we headed off to the Crystal Palace character-dining restaurant for lunch. The kids seemed more interested in the characters (Winnie the Pooh & friends) than in the food.

After that, we had some FastPasses for the Jungle Cruise and Pirates of the Caribbean, which the kids really seemed to like. We done the Swiss Family Robinson tree-house on the way back to Main Street USA, and, after looking in some of the shops and getting some photos taken on Main Street, the kids were pretty much done and it was time to head home.
