Tidal pool

Looks like I have my wish for some better weather. The forecast is good for the next few days and today has been lovely. 12C and a little breeze to cool us when walking. Just right for a good walk with Maeve the Deerhound. She prefers this sort of temperature.

Apothecary7, Maeve and I had a good stroll before lunch, taking in a mile or so of country lane and bridle path, before reaching the shore and the cycle path back along to Westhaven. Then it was down to the beach for a bit of little things spotting for Maeve and I. Apothecary7 went off towards one of the fishing boats, camera in hand, although she had been taking pics earlier in the walk too.

We all enjoyed a potter about on the beach today. The tide was out a fair bit and there was a good wide strip of dry warm sand. Maeve had a visit from a friendly, bouncy puppy but was not allowed off her lead to run about like mad hooligan play in case she got too hot. Blipping done we headed back home for lunch, and a recording of the last episode of "The Bridge".

For the series "interesting little things on the beach" ... seaweeds in a little tidal pool :-)
