Weathered Window ...

Perhaps once upon a time this happened ...

A farmer's wife said to her husband: "Francois, close the hatches, then we keep it warm and cozy!"
"As you say, ma cherie ... as you say ...".

From that moment the hatches remained closed for good ... 

... And they are still cosed until this very day ... ;)
