Night sky

I took this early evening. A lower view with different shades in the sky first took my eye but it didn't come out the way I intended. I looked for further inspiration and decided I liked the glow on the tree from the street lamp. Unfortunately, without a lot of effort I couldn't get the camera high enough to move the moon into the gap created by the trees. It took a bit of juggling to get it this far and the moon was teasing me by constantly going behind the clouds and fading completely.

It has been a long hard day so I'm not putting the alarm on tomorrow. A day off ... and a bit of framing to be done ... as well as a bit of shopping!
