Chiffchaff

Another occasional winter visitor to the garden is the chiffchaff.  A few are resident on the marshes all through the year. It was lovely to watch this one forage amongst the remains and litter of the summer garden.

 
We needed more sugar to make the marmalade so while Gofer went shopping I did some paperwork, filing and a great deal of paper shredding!
