Cant say i miss displaying a tax disc. New system seems a little odd tho.

Certainly very much lined up in the governments/dvlas favour.

The second you sell a vehicle that's it, no longer taxed - well, from a legal point of view. The cull takes effect once the dvla receive the paperwork.

You could buy a car on 1st of the month, the owner loses the rest of that months tax and the new keeper needs to tax for the whole month...thus the Government get two for the price of one.
