Another Day, Another Flower

Busy day at work.  Discovered that a colleague’s daughter broke her elbow last weekend, which sounds much much worse than BB’s injury.  They will be back at the hospital tomorrow, as will we.

I know I shouldn’t complain, but we all were – it was far too hot in the office today.  Last week it was freezing and we think they must have cranked the heating up this week and the temperature hit a peak today. We had the windows open!!  Hopefully it will have cooled down (a wee bit) by Monday, as a number of us had headaches.

BB had cubs tonight and had his second serving of haggis, neeps and tatties today, as they also had a Burn’s supper at school this afternoon – where of course they had haggis, neeps and tatties.  This reminded me that when BB was at nursery I had to sign a form to say that BB could have haggis neeps and tatties for lunch!  On the day, BB and his friend said they were allergic to it so didn’t want it.  BB went on to have three helpings!  He is a boy who likes his food.
