Conner Toll House
This cabin, built by James C Conner in 1858, served as a Union Army Civil War Encampment in 1863 and as a toll gate for about 30 years after the war ended. Now it's a landmark used for giving directions to our home. Yes, we pass this historic site daily. I love Signal Mountain.
