The single electric heater in my bedsit can't cope with these minus Celsius temperatures, so I thought that it might be warmer outside.

I was wrong. Very wrong. Three pairs of socks...

My tripod is on ice here, I am on ice. Next to the River Avon. I liked the outline of the fallen tree on the river bank and concentrated on that, but soon went wider, to include the huge sheet of ice in the shadows.

The warm tones are from the street lamps on the other side and the blue is from a wandering LED torch.
